From deep within the Vault, the Dark Pope sits and ruminates, contemplating the future of the Progeny. After being tasked with multiple assignments from the Lord-God of the Void, Himself, he must put together an assassination team made up of all-female Adherents, referred to as the ‘Inamoratas,’ whose job it will be to take on the most dangerous ventures put forth, in His name.

He must also bring to fruition, with the help of the Xoma Pharmaceuticals team deep in their covert underground labs, a plan involving the mass poisoning of the citizens of Colwell, in an effort to bring about human sacrifices that will please the Lord-God greatly and display the Dark Pope’s worthiness of the position of Venerable One. So be it.

This all-important work will involve interactions with a Nazi biker crew and a Chapter of an Asian crime organisation, the Wo Shing Wo, allowing the Progeny the opportunity to make crucial alliances and lasting partnerships, but also unwelcome enemies, who will stop at nothing to take what they believe to be rightfully theirs.

Following on from the events of ‘From Above the Eight, Exalted,’ we delve deeper into the individual lives of the Siblings and their devoted Adherents, exploring their backgrounds and what drives them to succeed, as they look to expand their organisation and swallow up competitors in a push to grow as widespread and as influential as possible.
